Dracilians

A species of lizard people from the Drac line, distantly related to Dragons and more closely related to the Aven, the Dracilians are native to Onaria and have lived in the region of Innadell for thousands of years.  Dracilians are generally peaceful and somewhat isolationist, the majority of Dracilians are nomadic herders in the grasslands of Ahnodell, though many live in large urban coastal cities or in forest communities of the south east.

Dracilians are human sized and stand on two legs, similar to a veloceraptor but with two rows of large spikes down their back.  They have human like hands and a third hand like appendage on their tail which is prehensile and can wield a weapon with great dexterity, making Dracilians incredibly proficient in hand to hand combat.

Dracilians have been historically very willing to make alliances, joining with the remains of the Adradi Fae to defeat the Dragon Empire in the Dragon Wars.  In the Great Wars, the Dracilians sided with the Elves and Humans, they remained economic and occasional military allies until many years later after the Phyrian Wars, when they joined the Alliance of Humans, Elves, Smithkin, Dracilians and Gnomes.
