Elves

The Elves are a sapient species closely related to Humans, they tend to be taller and more graceful than Humans but are otherwise similar.  Elves emerged on the continent of Nalornar and later colonized Northern Onaria.  The Elves have a bitter and ancient rivalry with the Fairies who they see as being corrupted Elves under the dominion of the Faery King, a powerful god like Archon from the sacred realm.  

The Elves were almost wiped out in Onaria during the great war when the Fae scourged the northern kingdoms, driving what remained of the Elves into what is now called Innadell, the land of the Alliance.  Uniting with the Humans, Smithkin, Gnomes and Halflings, the Elves still maintain a state of war with the Fae Empire.
