Smithkin

A people related to the Elves, the Smithkin broke off from the Northern Elves of Onaria and settled in the Mountains of Innadell.  They are masters of craft and engineering, living mostly in the mountains, they are masters of mining and metalworking.

The Smithkin have always maintained friendly relations with the Elves, Humans and Dracilians, siding with the Northern Elves during the Great war and repelling multiple Fae invasions.  Later they joined the Alliance of Humans, Elves, Gnomes and Dracillians. 

The Smithkin country of Armorhal is the buffer between the Alliance and the Northern Fae Empire of Thalandell, meaning most of the Alliance military bases and fortifications are in Smithkin territory.  Armorhal also borders on the Goblin Stronghold of DreggleDrogg in the land of Goglogos and the Ogre territory of Mogdergoth, giving it vital strategic importance in the defense of Innadell.
